Northwest Cape Coral Overview
The Northwest quadrant is part of the future I-75 loop from Punta Gorda through Cape Coral with Burnt Store Road to be widened to four lanes. The NW corridor of Pine Island Road is experiencing commercial growth, with new strip centers for convenient shopping. Soon there will be a new regional, one-million square foot shopping mall.

Another reason we call Cape Coral Your Gateway to Paradise is something located right here in the Northwest quadrant access to Pine Island, Matlacha Pass and Charlotte Harbor. Most of the direct saltwater access real estate is located in the SE and SW quadrants however, some access can be found at the southern tip of the NW quadrant by Ceitus Parkway and Matlacha Isles on Pine Island Road. There is limited saltwater access along the Spreader Canal via a boat lift for the rest of the NW quadrant. (The city is considering replacing the lift with a lock to improve navigation times.)
Coral Oaks is a popular public golf course located on NW 28th Ave at Van Buren Parkway and Burnt Store Road. A round of 18 holes only costs $23, and 9 holes is $12.50. This tropical Arthur Hills course has a practice area, pro shop, and the Knickers Pub. There is also a PGA pro on staff to help with your swing!
Northwest Cape Coral Real Estate
Throughout Northwest Cape Coral, waterfront real estate can be found on saltwater canals as well as freshwater lakes. Seahawk Park is scheduled for huge city improvements for the enjoyment of the residents and boaters who cruise the chain of five freshwater lakes. City water and sewers are not available in this area for some time. Homes are on septic and well, with elaborate water treatment systems. You will find that many newer homes in this quadrant favor two-story designs and open floor plans.
