The NE Pine Island corridor is attracting mega retailers such as Home Depot, Lowes, Super Target, BJ’s Wholesale, Wal-Mart and auto dealerships. Major restaurants include Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Starbucks and more. A four-year college and new high school campus are planned for Academic Village at Kismet Pkwy and Del Prado Blvd.
Boaters should know that all lakes and canals in northeast Cape Coral are fresh water. Northeast Cape Coral waterfront real estate is perfect for freshwater fishermen and nature lovers, but does not have access to the Gulf of Mexico.
Northeast Cape Coral Real estate
Real estate in the Northeast quadrant is exploding with new commercial and residential construction. There are over 4000 new residences planned for gated communities along Del Prado Blvd North to US 41, each with amazing grounds and amenities. There is still plenty of room to grow with an inventory of thousands of single family home sites still available.
The city is working hard to keep up with the demand for water and sewers. At this time, public utilities are not in all locations and this is reflected in real estate values. Future assessments are something to consider when purchasing real estate in this quadrant.
There is a secret enclave of homes with acreage for horses just north of Jacaranda Pkwy. Real estate in Las Lomas, The Woods and The Woods North area is technically North Fort Myers, but has a Cape Coral address. For this reason, it’s trickier to locate — but what a surprise awaits you!
Architecture varies from Spanish to contemporary to red cedar lodge styles. There are barns, paddocks, training rings, and ponds. For country living with city amenities close by, you will spend $400k - 1,200,000+.
